Richard St. John, author and success expert, talks about the importance of passion. He includes some great quotes from famous and not-so-famous people in his seven-minute speech. Some of my favorites are:
"Stress isn't working 15 hours at a job you like. Stress is working 15 minutes at a job you dislike.
Kathleen Lane, Chief Strategist at WorkCard
"I fell into what I do and I didn't know I loved it until I fell into it."
Dawn LePore, CIO at Charles Schwab
"Finding a job we love is like finding a person we love. Sometimes we just have to go on a lot of really bad dates before we find the right one"

The words above are from Christine Ha. They are part of a larger inspiring message she has for all of us and that's .....
"I want people to realize they have it in themselves. If you have that passion, that fire, that drive, that desire... you can overcome any obstacle and any challenges to really achieve what you want and prove yourself to the world. Everyone is very capable. Much more capable than they think they are."
Christine received a BBA degree in Finance/MIS from the University of Texas and a Master in Fine Arts degree for creative fiction and nonfiction from the University of Houston. She had entered and won various creative writing contests. An avid cook, Christine is a contributing writer to several food blogs, including the Houston Press' Eating Our Words.
Christine's passion for cooking lead her to enter the MasterChef cooking competition, a national TV show on the Fox Network. In the end, she beat out 100 chefs, winning the $250,000 grand prize plus a cookbook deal. As the first blind person to win this competition, she inspires all of us to find and follow our passions. To find out details about the show, including the judges and the other contestants, go to MasterChef.
